It's my first full week back at work since before Christmas and already it feels like I've been here half my life. Blugh.
I've also been doing 2010 campaign recaps for most all of my clients. All of them end with a "2011 Goals, Strategies and Recommendations" section, so I figured I should probably do this for myself, too. It sounds better than making resolutions...
1) Goal: Meet people, Recommendation: Leave the house
Go ahead and laugh it up, but I love spending time with my existing friends and I don't enjoy dressing up and getting wasted and having one night stands like I used to.
2) Goal: Slim up, Recommendation: Work out
I am kinda already doing this. I'm running the NY Half Marathon in March so I have been training, but I don't necessarily modify my diet (at all) when I workout. That would probably help, no? I'd like to run one half marathon per quarter and another triathlon.
I don't really have a third, but since 2 recommendations on a 2011 recommendations slide is super unacceptable, I'll make one up
3) Goal: Become a Media Director, Recommendation: Sleep at work
Okay, that's not really the best recommendation, but I tend to work my ass off and with all the recommended volunteering and speaking and work I'll be doing (from my boss at review time) I probably will end up sleeping here or at least wearing the same outfit two days in a row...
