Okay, so yeah, my delivery of that news was pretty blunt, but there was really no other way to say it. I used to go to Natural Body Morningside, but I really like the blue wax technique they use at Bliss Spa, so I've gone there the last two times. I also love Bliss because they have a eucalyptus steam shower. AH-MAY-ZING.
I had intended to see the same girl I saw last time, Michele, but I got Rin instead.
Rin is super cute. Real talkative and friendly. She's also Thai. As in from Thailand, so you think she'd know I wasn't Asian. Apparently not.
It's already weird having someone you don't know inches away from your genitalia, but then when they start engaging you into conversation - AWKWARD.
So Rin says "Oh, you'll be an easy wax, you're Asian"
...um...
a) Asians are easy waxes because??? Is Asian hair thin? I didn't think so
b) I'm not Asian.
And she is CONVINCED I'm Asian.
Seriously? But since she's the type of person that doesn't actually breathe when they talk, she just goes on and on and I never get a chance to say "hey, I'm not Asian"
Oh well. Where should I be from guys?
I was thinking I could be Filipino.
